Overview

Pardeep is a Solicitor specialising in all aspects of Family Law. With over 15 years of experience in Family Law, Pardeep prides himself on his down to earth and pragmatic approach.

Pardeep began his career at a regional firm in the Black Country where he progressed from Paralegal to Partner within the space of six years. More recently, he was a Director and Solicitor at a leading regional firm, with several offices in the West Midlands and Worcestershire.

Pardeep joined Staffordshire Family Law Solicitors in January 2025 as a Senior Solicitor.

Areas of expertise

Divorce

Pardeep has experience in advising clients in contested and uncontested divorce proceedings. He is experienced in dealing with the divorce process from taking initial instructions to obtaining Final Orders for divorce.

Financial Order Proceedings

Pardeep advises clients in respect of financial matters arising out of divorce proceedings.

He is experienced in resolving matters outside of Court proceedings, dealing with an exchange of voluntary financial disclosure and negotiating settlements that are in the client’s best interest. Where agreements cannot be reached, he guides and supports clients through the Court procedure, conducting advocacy at First Directions Appointments and Financial Dispute Resolution Hearings, as well as dealing with the preparation of financial statements, questionnaires, instruction of experts and drafting of Financial  Orders.

He is also experienced in dealing with cases involving intervenors and applications to prevent the disposition of assets.

Private Law Children

Pardeep can deal with all aspects of Children Act applications including applications for Child Arrangements Orders, Prohibited Steps Orders, Specific Issue Orders and Parental Responsibility orders. He can also assist not only parents, but other family members such as grandparents, siblings or extended family members. He frequently appears before the Family Court at all levels and represents clients from initial directions appointments through to final hearings. Pardeep is acutely aware of the emotional impact such proceedings have on families and assists clients to navigate the process with an aim to minimise acrimony.

Injunctions:

Pardeep can advise upon Non-Molestation Orders and/or Occupation Orders, and can assist clients whether they are applying for an order, or seeking to defend an application made against them.

He is experienced in dealing with urgent applications made on a “without notice” basis or applications made “on notice”. He can represent clients at all hearings including initial appointments, return dates and final hearings.

Other:

Pardeep also has considerable experience of advising upon cohabitation agreements and disputes, pre and post nuptial agreements, dissolution of civil partnerships.

Recognition

Pardeep was awarded a 2.1 Degree in Law from Nottingham Trent University in 2007.

He went on to complete the Bar Vocational Course in 2008 at Nottingham Law School achieving a Very Competent grade before being called to the Bar in late 2008.

In 2011, Pardeep undertook the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test and was admitted to the Solicitor’s Roll in 2012.

Pardeep is a member of Resolution and adopts their code of conduct.

Pardeep is also a member of the Law Society’s Family Law Accreditation Scheme, a recognised quality standard for specialist family law practitioners.
